Offered
The course runs through both Spring and Summer.
Prerequisite
CS 142, Math 323, Math 347; concurrent with Math 436
Description
Using and developing software to implement the content of Math 436. Developing models and applying results of computations to several application domains. Introduction to parallel computation.
Desired Learning Outcomes
Prerequisites
Minimal learning outcomes
Students will be able to model many real-world applications effectively using the concepts covered in Math 436. They will be able to use commercial software to do the computations that are central to these concepts, and will be able to interpret and apply the results of those computations in the contexts in which the models originated.
