Math 113H Sections 12 and 14 - Winter 2008

Honors Calculus 2

Regular Homework Assignments

Here are links to the homework schedule:

The assignments will generally be collected in class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Solutions should be clearly labeled and in order. The style of your written solutions should be very much like that of a text book example; solutions should contain enough explanation so that one of your classmates would be able to easily understand what you have done. Answers given without work will receive no credit. You are welcome to study together and work together on homework assignments. However, you each must submit your own assignment. However, you must submit your own assignment. Everything you turn in should be in your own words and you should thoroughly understand everything you write down. The homework grader will only grade selected exercises. Therefore it is important for you to solve each one. Use only standard letter sized 8.5 by 11 inch paper.

Late Assignments

Homework is due at the beginning of class on the day it is due. If you know you will need to miss class, you may turn in your assignment early. Late homework will not be accepted, except that you may turn in four assignment late without penalty. Late homework must to be turned in within three class periods of the original due date. Please attach a Late Coupon to you late assignment to help the grader with the record keeping. The lowest three homework scores will not be figured into your final grade. This accommodates for minor illnesses or others disruptions to your regular schedule that might prevent you from turning an assignment in on time.
