My main course to teach in the last 17 years has
been engineering math: Multivariable calculus and watered down linear algebra.
For my collection of notes and books, see the
following link. I will be retiring and it is easier for me to update the
following webpage.
My primary area of research is Partial Differential Equations and Inclusions. I work on abstract methods for determining whether problems of this sort are well posed. Lately, I have been working on the mathematical theory of problems from contact mechanics including friction, wear, and damage. I have also been studying extensions to stochastic equations and inclusions.
I am usually interested in topics in analysis, especially measure and integration, functional analysis and such things.

Here is a pdf file of Notes for Math 214. This is mostly a subset of the material in the calculus book consisting of multivariable calculus and a brief treatment of linear algebra.. Math 214 Notes
Here is a pdf file for a more elementary linear algebra book. This one presents everything for the first time in terms of the row reduced echelon form and emphasizes row operations. I have made many changes recently. There is a solutions manual available on request. elementary linear algebra book Also, here are alternate versions of the exercises along with their solutions. LinearAlgebraProblems LinearAlgebraSolutions . These files were computer generated using Scientific Notebook. The source files from which these were generated are available if anyone would like to use them and modify them as desired.
