The BYU Mathematics Department has faculty members currently researching in Algebraic Geometry, Applied Mathematics, Differential Equations, Geometric Group Theory, Matrix Analysis, Number Theory, Topology and Mathematical Biology. We offer PhD, MS, MA, and BS degrees in mathematics.
For courses in teacher training, consult the College of Education and the Department of Mathematics Education.
